What We Do
We help clients Explore, Identify, and Pursue their Purpose by providing meaningful and effective coaching.
We focus on college and career coaching for high school students.
How We Do It
Our services follow a three-part sequence: Explore, Identify, Pursue. We lead our clients through the process of exploring their interests and desires, identifying their purpose and improvements to their current situation, and then making a plan to actively pursue purpose.
Why We Do It
We believe everyone already has everything inside them they need to fulfill their purpose. Sometimes they just need someone to help cultivate their gifts and point them in the right direction. We have a passion for helping others pursue their purpose and excelling in their rightful place in the world.
OUR PROCESS
Community
Our clients become part of an exclusive online community of individuals who are focused and excited about living meaningful and purposeful lives.
3 Consistent Themes
Each session and activity will focus on at least one of our three themes: Explore, Identify, and/or Pursue.
Monthly Webinars
Once each month, we will have a live webinar to take a deeper dive into the main topic of the month. All webinars will be recorded and posted within 48 hours for replay.
Monthly Working Sessions
Once each month, we will have virtual working sessions that allow community members to share and receive feed back on the progress they've made.
One-on-One Coaching
If you sign up for coaching, you will receive one hour of live coaching each month. This includes feedback as you make progress between sessions, if needed.
Discounts
Active members will receive a discount on future webinars, events, and/or products offered by Move on Purpose, LLC.
COACHING OPTIONS
THE COLLEGE & CAREER JOURNEY COURSE
In this 3-stage course, you will join a community of youth as you navigate the college and career search/choice process. You will receive guidance as you explore various career and academic options, identify the best options based on your needs and interests, and make a plan to pursue the best educational and/or career path for your desired outcome.
Investment: $150
THE COLLEGE & CAREER JOURNEY CLUB (MEMBERSHIP)
In addition to receiving access to The College and Career Journey course, you will also receive access to our monthly focus webinars to take a deeper dive into one of topics covered in the course. There will also be an additional working session each month for students to ask questions.
Investment: $47/month
ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
Participate in monthly one-on-one coaching sessions to help you stay on track as you navigate the college and career search/choice process. These sessions will primarily be client led, with feedback and suggestions given by the coach. This option includes feedback as you make progress between sessions, if needed.
Investment: $100/month
*Coaching only. This does not include the College & Career Journey Course.
OUR TEAM
Angela D. Duncan, Ph.D. / "Dr. D."
Manager/Coach
Dr. Duncan's extensive background in student services and student development makes her an ideal person to provide the opportunities Move on Purpose LLC brings to the table. For more than 17 years now, she has served in the role of educator. Dr. Duncan has actively supported students at the college/university level (undergraduate admissions, academic advising, financial aid, registrar, residence life, and student accounts) and the high school level (college and career readiness advocate). Her graduate degrees focused on higher education and student affairs, generating the passion and skills necessary to assist students at all levels as they work through processes regarding applying and being accepted to post-secondary education, selecting courses, understanding their financial aid award packages, and adjusting to living on campus.
Dr. Duncan has also worked with parents and guardians to make sure they understand the steps necessary for their students to move forward in the process, and continues to wholeheartedly provide encouragement and connections to vital resources when challenges appear. She has a passion for helping others explore, identify, and pursue their purpose so they can truly live their best lives.
